Ode to Treadmill

 100_3536

I think about you often

The runs I used to do

But now you just sit lonely

Because I neglect you.

I’m eating too many cookies

And chunks of Toblerone

And if I could just run on you

I’d get back in the zone.

I hope it won’t be long

Before we’re reunited

It’s just that I’m so tired

And can’t-quit-hacking-up-gross-stuff-from-my-chest-or-get-back-any-energy-and-who-can-think-about-running-when-you-could-be-sleeping.

Love, Berry Girl.

Oh land sakes and Father of mercy. I do love you. Wherever you are (I can't seem to find you in person lately) you and your sick self are dearly loved and enjoyed.

HA HA HA!! Love the poem! I might steal that idea one day, but if I do, I'll link you up.
